Our vision, mission and values shape everything we do, creating a supportive and inspiring environment for our students, staff and community.

Vision:

The culture of our school will be based on the principles of dialogue, inclusion and mutual respect. All dealings between staff, children and families will be characterised by a code of common courtesy, kindness and good manners. Partnership, working together and celebrating our community are the corner stone of our school life.

We are committed to providing a service to our students who are recognised as the most important group within the school community. Staff will demonstrate due consideration and respect for their students. Students' rights to voice opinions will be recognised and staff will work with students to deal with their concerns.

The efforts which members of staff make to improve the learning process and promote partnership will be recognised by students adopting an active role in their own learning.

When dealing with difficult situations we will seek to resolve problems by mediation, respecting the feelings of all involved.

The school will continue to develop its existing positive links with the local community and promote civic pride in its achievements and reputation.

Taking care of our children and encouraging them to develop a positive attitude is an essential element of the work we do at Lift Offa’s Mead.

Teaching our children how to be resilient learners; able to understand and manage their emotions through self regulation is a fundamental part of our emotional literacy strategy and is a life long skill which allows them to flourish and thrive.

We are on the search for DISCOVERING WHAT'S POSSIBLE. At Lift Offa's Mead we look for and create 'remarkable eureka moments' for our children, helping them discover a world of opportunity and possibilities.

Be unusually brave

We choose to be UNUSUALLY BRAVE and not afraid to challenge wrongs or make the right call even when it's bot unusual and difficult to do so.

Push the limits

We always PUSH THE LIMITS. We don't settle for anything less than excellence - and we don't allow our children to either. We resolve to overcome any self imposed obstacle.
