We are extremely proud of the remarkable children here at Lift Offa's Mead and work hard to ensure we provide them with the very best academic, social and emotional learning opportunities every single day. A recent full Ofsted inspection, in October 2022, judged us to be a 'Good' school. The report can be found here.
We are a vibrant primary school, proud to serve the Sedbury, Beachley and Chepstow communities. Our children are encouraged to participate fully in school life and to be responsible for contributing to an ethos where every member feels valued, respected and has a sense of purpose. The school recognises the importance of partnership and wants parents to play an active role in their child’s development throughout their primary years.
Our children start their academic journey in the school year in which they are five years old, when they join our Foundation Stage. As a Lift school at Offa's Mead our mission is pure and simple: to provide an excellent education for every child in every classroom, everyday. This is the golden thread that binds us all together – the reason that despite our very different paths to Lift Offa's Mead, we are all part of one family.

Our trust is made up of 57 primary, secondary and special schools, educating more than 33,000 pupils across the country – from Middlesbrough in the north to Devon in the west, Essex in the east and the Isle of Wight in the south. The majority of our schools are rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
